CHARLOTTE, NC — 2021 has been another record-breaking year for Pink Energy. Our passion to bring customers their own, clean source of electric power and the high demand for the services we offer has again fueled our exponential growth and added several awards to our ever-growing trophy case.

Thursday night in a third-floor ballroom at the JW Marriott in uptown Charlotte, we added yet another.

The Charlotte Business Journal recognized Pink Energy as the 17th ranked company on its 2021 Fast 50, a list comprised of the fastest growing private companies based in the Charlotte area. It’s the third straight year Pink Energy has made the list, after ranking third on the CBJ’s list in 2020 and fifth in 2019.

The company’s six-member executive team was on hand to accept the honor in front of a sold-out room. Better yet, Pink Energy is primed to far exceed its $366 million revenue total from 2020 when the curtain closes on 2021.

“The feeling is great,” company CEO Jayson Waller said of being honored. “We’re going to break another record and do big things for our employees. We gotta keep breaking records every month, and we’ve been doing that month over month. The best part is, we’re getting better. Our employees are getting better, we’re training better, we’re making a difference. We truly are building a movement, BAM, one panel, one customer, one employee at a time.”

Pink Energy’S Fast Expanding Footprint

Pink Energy has gone from just 15 employees in 2015, to now having more than 2,200 dedicated team members. While we’re proud of our humble beginnings in North Carolina, Pink Energy is equally proud to be adding new territory across the USA every year. In 2021, five new states joined our footprint, including Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Texas, and West Virginia. We now serve clients in 15 states, covering most of the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, parts of the Midwest, and parts of the Lone Star State.

Pink Energy’S Accelerated Revenue

The Fast 50 companies are chosen based on a formula calculating average revenue over a three-year period. Because this formula is based on percentage of growth and not total revenue, it gets more difficult for Pink Energy to make the cut with each passing year. However, our growth is still trending skyward. The company has achieved an 88.6% average revenue growth rate over the past three years

The Road Ahead for Pink Energy

Based off of our projections, we are excited to have a chance at making a fourth straight Fast 50 list in 2022. If so, it would be a reflection of all of our employees who helped us get there. With future expansion ahead in 2022, our forecast expects to be similarly bright and sunny. BAM!
