CLEVELAND — Local solar provider Pink Energy and the Cleveland Browns have formed a new partnership that will help the Browns continue their ‘go green’ efforts this season.

Through the partnership, Pink Energy will help the Browns install solar panels at FirstEnergy Stadium in the coming weeks, further assisting the energy efficiency and decreasing the carbon footprint through renewable energy solutions at the stadium.

Pink Energy is one of the fastest growing American companies to specialize in solar energy and roofing services.  The company will assist the pro football franchise with sustainability goals and responsible energy practices as part of the Browns’ green initiative.  Pink Energy will also help Cleveland Browns fans go green by offering easy, affordable clean energy solutions through promotions, giveaways, and education on solar power and sustainability this season.

“We are so proud to be partnering with the Cleveland Browns on this green initiative,“ said Jayson Waller, Co-Founder of Pink Energy and Roofing. “Together, we’ll be building a movement that will not only help the organization address sustainability and environmental challenges for future generations of Browns players and fans, it will encourage today’s fans to think about ways they can go green for the greater good of Cleveland and our planet.”

With this new partnership, the Browns will join a short, but growing list of pro football franchise leaders utilizing solar energy to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and build healthier, more sustainable communities.

Pink Energy, the leading residential solar energy provider in five states, is working with additional pro football players, franchises, and professional athletes to build stronger, healthier communities across the U.S. The company already has installed solar panels on the parking deck of the Detroit Lions’ stadium and at the team’s training facility.
